Our Story

As aromatherapists and aromatherapy teachers, we have first-hand experience of working to address the impact that the fast-paced realities of modern life can have on people's skin, bodies and minds.

Our practice has taught us that by taking a holistic approach to formulation, using sustainable, botanical ingredients that not only have exceptional skincare properties, but which also support a balanced and positive state of mind, we are able to achieve better outcomes not only for the skin but also for the overall wellbeing of the user. 

Inspired by this knowledge, our commitment is create exceptional skincare that is highly effective and holistic in its outcomes, always a joy to use, but also sustainable in its approach and provenance.

From planting a tree for every product we sell to contributing our time and expertise to initiatives that promote access to wellbeing; from using sustainable natural ingredients and recyclable packaging to working with suppliers and partners who understand our approach and share our values, our aim is to offer outstanding world-friendly skincare which makes accessing the benefits of aromatherapy a simple part of your daily wellbeing ritual. 
 
About Elaine and June

Elaine Tomkins TIDHA MIFPA MCHNC MFHT
Elaine has taught massage, aromatherapy massage, facial rejuvenation techniques and the use of essential and carrier oils to both therapists and non-therapists in Europe, America and Asia and has developed and delivered training courses for hospitals, spas and massage and aromatherapy schools including the prestigious Tisserand Institute where she was a lead tutor for the Diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy.

Alongside her work for Touch and Such, Elaine continues to work as a freelance massage and aromatherapy teacher and as a practicing remedial massage  therapist, aromatherapist and facialist.  Elaine has spent over twenty years studying massage techniques and philosophies and the properties and therapeutic uses of natural plant-derived ingredients.

June McEnroe TIDHA MIFPA
June graduated as a professional aromatherapist in 2000 and started practising in London where she worked as an assistant tutor for the Tisserand Institute on the Diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy and as a tutor for the London School of Complementary Health. Having worked with and designed and delivered training for a wide range of organisations including Age UK, Family Mosaic Housing Association and the Department for Children, Schools and Families, June is passionate about ensuring that the health benefits of therapeutic touch and essential oils are more widely understood and accessible.

Alongside her work for Touch and Such, June works as a freelance massage and aromatherapy teacher and continues to study and deepen her knowledge of the properties and uses of essential oils and other plant-derived ingredients.
